Ok, I just recently posted the classroom coupons I created on Facebook. I LOVE classroom coupons – they’re so versatile! You can create a coupon for almost anything. Do you know what I love more than a coupon? Scratch-offs! I mean, who doesn’t love unveiling a “prize”? The mystery, the suspense… your students will NEVER get tired of these!

DIY Scratch-Offs
Materials Needed:
- Classroom Coupons (keep reading for a FREE printable)
- Acrylic Paint
- Dish Soap
- Clear Scotch or Packing Tape
- Paint brush & Scissors
Step 1: Print out Classroom Coupons
Create your own classroom coupons or choose from these pre-made ones which are customizable! I created 7 themes to last you the year (or head over and grab these FREE “Crazy Fun” coupons!) Print them out on cardstock paper for best results!

Step 2: Cover the “Scratch-Off” Area with Tape
Cover the area to be scratched off with tape.

Step 3: Make the Scratch-Off Paint
Mix 2 parts paint to 1 part dish soap (“ah hem” please tell your 7th graders that ratios DO exist in real life!)

Step 4: Paint the Classroom Coupons
Lastly, paint over the area you would like to be scratched off. You will need about 3-4 coats to fully cover the area, so don’t worry if it looks see through at first! Click here for the Back-to-School template!

Enjoy!
Tell me below how you’ve used or plan to use these in your classroom!
